can't stay away from water

I am a nurse so staying away from water is out of the question. Mine started approximately three weeks ago and starts to clear up while I'm off work, but once I go back (and wash my hands several times in 12 hours) It comes back with a vengeance!

Katrina's Reply: Oh wow. Yes, you definitely won't be able to avoid water in your line of work. Have you tried stress management, and using fragrance-free hand soaps?

Nurse as well
by: Anonymous

I'm a nurse as well and have had multiple breakouts. I use the foaming alcohol hand sanitizer when possible and use a seteriod cream (Fluocinonide) BID and that has been the biggest help!

eczema
by: jenny

I'm a nurse as well and have dyshidrotic eczema as well on my left hand and left foot only. I'm experimenting with the aveeno combination hand sanitizer & lotion. It's pretty expensive, but easier on the hands than hospital sanitizers/soaps.
