Free Skin Care Beauty Tips

Here's a listing of some of the best free skin care beauty tips.

When you're in the shower (I hope you're using a shower filter, by the way) use your facial cleanser and mask, if applicable. This is a real time-saver. Once you get out of the shower, all you need to do is apply your toner if you use one, and your moisturizer.
A great way to wash your feet in the shower is with this cool suction-cupped foot scrubber (pictured at right). This is not only a time-saver but it's a safer way of washing your feet without having to balance and stand on one leg. It even has a built-in pumice stone to help smooth out rough heels.

Apply body lotion once you get out of the shower. It will help to seal in the moisture and keep your skin hydrated. Do not clip toenails or fingernails at this time, because the nails are too soft from being in the water.
Apply some moisturizer to your throat area every day. This will keep the "turkey gobble" appearance from forming on your neck. Your neck is one of the first areas to show age.
When applying foundation to your face, try a layer of concealer all over and not just on the problem areas like blemishes and uneven skin tone. Then, apply a thin layer of your foundation over it. Talk about a flawless finish!

This is one of my very favorite free skin care beauty tips: After applying lipstick, place your index finger in your mouth and close your lips around it, then pull your finger straight out. This removes excess lipstick from your lips and prevents it from getting on your teeth.
Don't shake your nail polish bottle. Place it between your palms and roll it back and forth. Shaking the bottle will create bubbles when you apply the polish to your nails. Don't blow on your nails to dry the polish, this usually will only dry the top layer and there will still be wet polish underneath.
When filing your nails, file in one direction only, not back and forth like a saw.
Take your own tools with you when you go to have a pedicure done. This is great for health reasons. Remember to clean and sanitize the tools properly after use.
